The Zedmed Technical Environment

Due to the non-platform specific nature of the Web-Services architecture, it also allows external parties to develop plug-in modules for the Zedmed products. This 3-tier technology also enables the popular Zedmed 'briefcase' mode, allowing you to take your data away from your office, work with it, and automatically upload any changes upon your return. The current Zedmed products have been designed to be database independent, however, we recommend the latest firebird database server which provides a stable, cost-effective and scalable solution irrespective of practice size.
